Progress is being made each week on the House that Poppee Built! (building) The ceiling boards are all pine and have been milled, planed, beaded and grooved.  We needed around 3900 sq feet and after a lot of work - they are all sticked/stacked and curing under our roof.  They pretty much filled up the upstairs floor space as the stacks are spaced to allow air to circulate around them.  While they dry and cure the exterior siding is going on piece by piece! It is hardwood - oak - they cut all of them on the sawmill - the boys and I are staining each one before they go up so no one will have to climb around on the porch roof with buckets of stain in hand!  Isn't it lovely!  My house is finally getting "clothed"!! Whoohooo!
