A keeper at home needs to be resourceful and prudent. Unlike today, generations past could only obtain certain foods
when they were in season. They lived on wholesome foods, made at home, from staples that were available from
their own gardens and pantries. My goal is "I don't have to go to the store!" If your cupboards are sparse now, begin
stocking your pantry with sale items (only those you KNOW your family likes and you will use or know how to use!) and
looking for bargains. Begin to stock your pantry, bit by bit, and one day you will reach the goal,
"Today, I just don't have to go to the store! I can make a delicious meal from my pantry stores."
