The Hunter's Wife
I call it deer fever. Every October the epidemic spreads.
Crisp, cool days and clear, cold starry nights, leaves start spiraling from the trees;
suddenly my husband is infected. The fever is highly contagious,
spreading quickly through the family to any boy over the age of nine.
They are skillful hunters; soon the freezers are filling with venison.
This booklet will give you all the tips and recipes, I have learned over the years,
for cooking the bounty of my deer slayers.

~ PRODUCT COMMENT
I want to thank you for making this cookbook. Every year my DH hunts deer
and every year he gets something. I hunted this year and got one and I have
to young sons who will be ready in a year or two. While to most families
the abundance off meat would be great, we would give it ALL away because I
can't cook venison to make it edible. It would taste of liver and we would
end up ordering pizza. I had most of the venison ground this year in hopes
of making it edible and I bought your cook book. Last night my hubby walked
into the kitchen and said what ever your cooking smells so good I could
smell it out in the garage, when do we eat. When we sat down he asked with
a scared look, ok what is it and will it taste like it smells. After grace
he took a bite and said whatever this is, make it again! It was your
country fried venison. YUM!! Thank you for giving me the tools to feed my
family a good meal!
