About 2.5 years ago, a group of us MOMYS (Mothers of Many Young Siblings) decided it would be great to have a cookbook geared to large families. We wanted to avoid multiplying fractions during crazy hour. We wanted recipes we KNEW real life families has their tried and true recipes. We thought we might have 500 recipes and sell 200 books. The submissions kept coming. And Coming. AND COMING! We ended up with a book which had 1600 recipes! And we sold 1500 books! It is wonderful. Everyone I know who owns one, says it's their favorite cookbook. Marmee has even written other cookbooks, and this is her favorite! I use it every week and more than once!
Not only are there the recipes, but there are also photos and articles and verses for encouragement.
This is one thick complete cookbook - over 3" in a padded 3 ring beautiful binder with dividers. It weighs over 3 lbs. so you are getting a lot for the $$. They make absolutely wonderful gifts and I want to have one for all the cooks in my extended family!
