Whole grains are not always readily available at your local grocery market.  Many families have not been introduced to whole grains that are so nutritious and have only known white processed flour and nothing else.

This kit goes perfectly with the UNIT STUDY on GRAINS by Mrs. Gail Kappenman.  You and your children can learn together and have the whole grains right in your hands to learn together by tasting, touching and seeing!

This kit is packaged in a easy open/close white box and includes 1 small serving portions of grains in different forms:

The grains are in small zipper recloseable baggies and the labels of each grain includes facts - recipes - and comments about the different grains.  Included is a diagram of a wheat kernel and information.  A set of vials in a solid wood holder contains whole wheat kernels in all stages of milling - the germ, the bran, the middlings the oil and what is the end result - plain white flour.  A great hands-on learning object.
